The Faroe Islands are 18 islands in the middle of the North Atlantic Ocean, halfway between Iceland and Norway. When visiting the Faroes you are never more than 5km away from the ocean and mountains. You feel like you are living with sheep and birds, there are about 70,000 and 2 millions respectively.
Unspoiled, Unexplored and Unbelievable. These are the three words how its tourism board (Visit Faroe) describes what the Faroe Islands have to offer. However, Faroe Islands are way more than these words. To lure you keep an eye on my upcoming Faroe Islands posts, I decided to use images as a preface.
These are just a tiny part of the awesome photos I captured in my 10 days- stay, drone video and more stories to come. STAY TUNED.
